The following are pictures from the WDC Social & Dem on Sat 17/03/2007. Were you there, are you in the pictures?

The evening included a superb demonstration from Professional couple, and Strictly Come Dancing stars, Vincent Simone and Flavia Cacace. They performed several dances including a Milonga and, of course, an Argentine Tango - all of which looked fabulous and full of energy. Vincent looked masterful and controlled with Flavia the picture of elegance and style.

Vincent kept the crowd entertained with his dancing anecdotes while Flavia changed between dances. On several occasions Vincent "subtly" reminded us all to vote for him on Strictly - just in case we forgot! Given the way they entertained us with their dancing, this was not going to be an issue.

Vincent and Flavia were absolutely fabulous and stayed to chat and have photos taken with the party-goers, which was much appreciated by all.

The evening was a great success with the usual mix of Ballroom, Latin, party and Latin in Line dances. The highlight was definitely Vincent and Flavia's dem - it's not every day you get to see such major dancing stars "in your own back-yard".

The WDC crowd are all fans of Strictly Come Dancing on BBC1 and so we let them know that "they were our favourites".
